See all objectives in one place, and use filters to further refine the results. For example, list all objectives with an On hold status with visibility customer facing.
What you need to know
- Each objective record is tied to a specific account.
- Click the objective name to edit details. Bulk updates are not supported.
- Filter and edit columns using objective data points.
- The availability of objective records are limited to account scope of each team.
Create an objectives segment
Create a segment from the main search bar. You can also create new segments from any SuccessBLOC (Segments tab), the quick actions menu from the Workspace or account profile views, within the Global SuccessBLOC, or by copying an existing segment.
- Click the down arrow inside the search bar at the top of Totango.
- From the segment window, choose Objectives under the System category.
- A new Untitled segment opens.
Suggested filters allow you to filter on the provided search terms in one click. For example, show me all campaigns with
Status= In Progress. - Add filters to refine the list of results. Within the filter window, start typing the data point by which you'd like to filter.
- When you click the objective data point you want to use, a new window opens to choose the filter conditions. Values and options vary, depending on the type.
Click Apply Filter when ready. - The list of matching results appears. Continue adding filters and groups as needed.
- From the resulting data set, click Edit Columns to further refine the data shown the results.
- From the segment results, sort or search:
- Hover over a segment column to view sorting options.
When sorting mapped fields (i.e., flow), the system sorts by the related ID, not alphabetically by label.
- Use the search box to search by account name (not case sensitive) or objective name (case sensitive).
- Hover over a segment column to view sorting options.
- Click inside the segment name to rename and choose more properties.
- Location: Save within a SuccessBLOC or personal folder (My Folder) within the Workspace view.
- Privacy: Choose Public if you want the segment to visible to your teams when searching or using a shared location, such as a published SuccessBLOC. Segments saved to your personal folder are always private.
You must be a SuccessBLOC collaborator, owner, or global admin to save public segments to a SuccessBLOC.
- Click Save.
