Who can use this feature?
- Refer to user licenses for limitations
- Available on all plans
Lifecycle status attributes allow the following options within segmentation:
- Is one of: Find current stage and the number of days in the stage
- Is not one of: Negation of "Is one of"
- Exists: A value is set
- Does not exist: No value set
- Is not one of or does not exist: Negation of "is one of" OR no value set
- Changed: From or To another stage
- Completed: End stage is marked
Additionally, you can use the "Days In" filter for any lifecycle status attribute to find the number of days in the current stage.
Use lifecycle filters
Lifecycle filter parameters vary depending on the option you choose.
- Within a segment, campaign, SuccessPlay, or other segmentation engine, click to add a filter.
- Locate the lifecycle attribute you want.
- Choose the values you want based on the specific stage(s) you want to query on.
Example:Customer Journey Stage
changed in the last 5 days from "Onboarding"
The option to choose a measurement is available for "is one of," "is not one of," or "Is not one of or does not exist."
Timeframe:
- Logic: Check if the status(es) remained for at least XX days during the time period.
-
Example: Show me accounts that have been at "At Risk" at least 7 days during the last 30 days.
- Result: It's Day 90; Account A matched the status on Days 1, 12, [70-75, 80, 83-85] = 10 days at risk within the last 30 days
All time:
- Logic: Check if the status(es) has ever remained for at least XX days, but not necessarily during the selected time period; it must have only occurred at least once during the selected time period.
-
Example: Show me accounts that have been at "At Risk" at least once in the last 30 days AND have been "At Risk" for at least 7 days overall.
- Result: It's Day 90; Account B matched the status on Days 1, 12, 21, 45-48, [80] = 8 days at risk overall and 1 day within the last 30 days
- Click Apply Filter to view the matching records.
Use "Days In" lifecycle filters
Lifecycle status attributes count the "Days in" a lifecycle status, after moving from the first stage AND excluding time when a status value is set to an "end" stage. End stages stop the time tracking of the lifecycle.
- The "Days In" counter includes the total time spent in any non-start and non-end lifecycle statuses.
- Once a status value moves from an end stage back to another stage (non-start or non-end), the "Days In" counter starts over.
- Within a segment, campaign, SuccessPlay, or other segmentation engine, click to add a filter.
- Locate the "Days in" attribute you want.
- Choose the values you want based on the specific stage(s) you want to query on. Examples:
- Total days in (any)
Risk Status
lifecycle status (excluding start and end stages) at least 30 days. - Total days in (any)
Risk Status
lifecycle status (excluding start and end stages) was less than or equal to 150 days (at anytime) within the last 180 days.
- Total days in (any)
- Click Apply Filter to view the matching records.
