Provision Totango users with Okta

Who can use this feature?

Totango supports provisioning system users with Okta. The following features are supported:

  • Create Totango users
  • Update Totango user attributes
  • Deactivate Totango users

The Totango SCIM API does not support custom group attributes from Okta. The license value for a user in Okta must be a user attribute, not a group attribute.

Enable SCIM integration and get a personal access token

  1. From Settings, expand User Management > Totango Users > General Settings.
  2. Select the options to Enable SCIM APIs for User Management and Keep team assignment when replacing a user without team assignment data. (Changes are automatically saved.)
  3. From the SCIM Basic URL, click to copy the value.
