The Totango bot for Microsoft Teams allows anyone who can interact with the bot to query Totango data from MS Teams. The bot requires the following permissions for configuration:
- Admin or owner-user in MS Teams
- Totango admin permissions
An MS Teams user does not need to have any Totango licenses to be able to interact with the bot; it's up to the administrator of MS Teams to provide access to the bot according to the organization needs and policies.
If your organization's MS Teams admin does not have Totango admin account, consider creating a temporary Totango global admin user to share with your IT team who manages MS Teams. Post installation, disable the temporary Totango admin user.

FAQs
Question: I'm confused about Totango and Zoe; what are these names?
Answer: When Totango launched a Zoe bot for Slack, we envisioned it to become a brand of any tools that allow you to communicate with Totango system, without being a user (or necessity to login). Since then, we've unified our bot tools under the Totango brand name for simplicity.
