Introducing task categories and custom task statuses
You can now customize task statuses to match how your team works!
Instead of relying on a simple closed or open state, you can define your own task status labels and organize them within system-defined status categories. This lets your team track progress in a way that aligns with your internal processes while keeping a clear framework.
What you need to know
- Categories are system-defined and cannot be changed.
- Each category must contain at least one label. One label has already been created for each category. Labels are fully customizable and can be created or edited by admins.
- The legacy
Task Statusfield (open | closed) remains available for segmentation and integrations. Additionally for your existing tasks, we've automatically set the values for these new classifications:- Tasks previously marked open are automatically assigned the Not Started | Not Started task status category / label.
- Tasks previously marked closed are automatically assigned the Completed | Completed task status category /label.
New permission for deleting tasks
Admins can now control task deletion with a dedicated permission. This allows you to prevent users from deleting tasks—such as those created by SuccessPlays—while still allowing them to create and update tasks.
You can find the new permission under User Management > Permissions > Account Permissions. Previously, task deletion was included in the same "Create, Update, Delete Tasks & Run a SuccessPlay" permission scope.
Extended token expiration for OAuth apps
You can now extend the access token expiration for your registered OAuth applications up to 90 days (up from the previous 24-hour maximum), providing more flexibility and reducing the need for frequent re-authentication.
Under-the-hood improvements
- We’ve deployed performance improvements that deliver noticeably faster account overview load times.
- Custom reports now open in View mode by default, even for logged-in users accessing the report through a direct link.
- We've renamed the recently-released
