Who can use this feature?

Totango uses account assignment to denote relationships between a customer and each Totango team member who plays a role in ensuring the account’s success. Account assignment allows you and your team to track your book of business easily and gives everyone visibility into responsibility at different points in the customer’s journey.

Ways to view your accounts

Leverage account assignment throughout Totango:

  1. Account profile
    • The Account Assignment widget on an account profile displays all Totango users who have been assigned to the account and given a team role.
  2. My Portfolio
    • The My Portfolio widget is typically set to show accounts assigned to you. 
    • If you have the option to adjust the portfolio scope, clicking Reset to My Customers sets the Account assignment members = [Your Name]
  3. Segment filters
    • Use the reserved data points to filter by account assignment:
      • Account assigned to - All accounts where you have any assignment role
      • [Name of account team role] (e.g., Success Manager) - All accounts where you have a specific assignment role
