Log into Totango

Who can use this feature?

  • All users
  • Available on all plans and license types

Set up your account

Global admins or users with advanced permissions can invite new users to Totango. Follow the prompts in your invitation email to set up your password and account details. The next time you log in, you can use the email address and password.

Find your Totango account

Totango uses a two-step login process to support using the same email address with multiple Totango accounts (services).

  1. In a web browser, go to https://app.totango.com.

    Your company may have a custom domain configured, such as acem.totango.com.

  2. Enter your email address, and click Continue.

    Totango redirects you to the service URL associated with your email address. If your service is configured for single sign-on (SSO), you may see additional login options.

    Global admins and users with advanced permissions can configure SSO options from Settings > User Management > Authentication Settings.

  3. Enter your password, and click Login.

The next time you log in, the Totango account is remembered, and you can log in directly from this screen.

If you need to log in with a different account, click Login with different account from the login screen.

Find all Totango accounts 

If your email address is associated with multiple Totango accounts, you can request an email with a list of associated services.

  1. In a web browser, go to the Totango login screen.
  2. Enter your email address.
  3. Click Find all Totango accounts.
  4. From the email, click Login next to the account you want.

  5. The unique login URL (service-specific) opens in a new browser tab. 
  6. Enter your password, and click Login.

Edit your profile

We recommend editing your profile to personalize your contact details, set notification preferences, or update your password.

  1. After logging in, click the profile icon in upper right corner, and click Edit Profile.
    1. Optionally upload a photo to appear in areas of Totango to your team members, such as account assignment widget on the account profile.
    2. From the Profile tab, enter user information and signature. If you are selected as a sender from any campaign, your signature may automatically be populated in the email.

      Copy and paste your signature directly from your email client to retain formatting.

    3. From the Notifications tab, choose your preferences for which email to receive from Totango:
      • Daily digest of tasks and notifications (not editable if enforced by global admin)
      • Product releases and trainings (recommended)
      • Feedback (recommended)
      • Best practices and learning
    4. From the Password tab, optionally change your password.
  2. Click Save.

Global admins can also set password expiration policies under User Management > Authentication Settings.
