Who can use this feature?

Set global preferences for My Business pages to ensure your team sees the right data.

Set business definitions

These settings determine how data is calculated for all the views within My Business.

  1. From Settings, click General.
  2. Under the Business Definitions section, set the following:
    • Risk: Choose one or more filters for how you identify accounts at risk.
    • Renewal date: Choose a custom date attribute* the system should use to determine renewal date. If no attribute is chosen, Totango uses Contract Renewal Date.

      *Only account attributes and hierarchy calculations are supported at this time (i.e., not custom metrics, etc.)

    • Renewal window: Choose one or more filters for how you identify the renewal window (e.g., Contract Renewal Date is the next 90 days).
  3. Click Save.

Set default columns for each team

These control what appears in the All Accounts table on the My Business | Overview page.

  1. From Settings, click User Management > Teams.
  2. For each team, open the team settings (Advanced Settings tab).
  3. Under the My Book of Business section, click Edit to adjust the columns in the table (max 20).
  4. Click Save.

    Column settings are user-specific and cached in the browser. If your teams aren't seeing the right columns, you may need to revert to admin defaults (My Business Overview > Edit > Reset to Admin Defaults > refresh the page). This clears the cached view and applies the admin settings.

Question: How do the business definitions settings affect the configuration settings within Revenue Center?

Answer: There is no impact to Revenue Center.
