A Totango Developmental (Dev) instance provides your team with a testing environment for a partial copy of your data. Dev instances allow you to demo new features before deploying to all users.

Dev instances have limits to the number of allowed Totango users, accounts, and collections. Refer to the terms of your contract for more details on data retention terms and other enabled features.

What you need to know

• A Dev instance is offered as an add-on service or included as part of your plan. Consult your contract for details.
• A Dev instance is an independent environment. There is no connectivity (e.g., no ability to "push" data) between your development and production environments.
