Custom Metrics - Power of Import Functions

The formula capability for data imports is amazingly flexible, and is able to go well beyond simple math.  If that formula system could be used for Custom Metrics it would greatly expand the possibilities.

There are many cases where text and date formulas would be valuable.

Logic is sorely missing in the current system.
