Connect Totango Insights Outbound to custom objects in Salesforce

  Hi Andrew,

  Totango insights can be synced to Account, Deal or Opportunity objects in SFDC, but in the future you can also sync this info to custom objects if you create custom fields.

  The out-of-the-box integration is using custom Totango object fields and UI widget that are created for you when you install the Totango app for SFDC.

  we are working on an enhancement that will allow allow you to  create identical custom fields in your custom object and map the insights data to them.

  Thanks, but I get an error when syncing it to a custom object to install the Totango app.

  Hi Andrew,

  We need to get more details on what you did and the error you got.

  As you can see from our documentation, you need to create a 'Totango Insights Outbound' integration with Totango new Salesforce connector.

  You need to create the custom fields in the target Salesforce object and the mapping should match these fields. Then, the attributes will be synced to the fields you created in your custom object. The UI element of the Totango widget is supported only for the Salesforce Account object.
