Allow Users to Further Personalize Scorecard and Segment Filters
The Account Set of user SuccessTeams dictates what gets included within Scorecards and Segment results. Our goal is to give our users visibility to the maximum number of accounts possible while still adhering to our company’s security and data protection guidelines, so we tend to configure their SuccessTeam Account Sets using macro-level filter attributes like LOB and Region (North America, APJ, EMEA, etc.).
However, many of our users have specific roles requiring them to move quickly and focus more tactically on one sub-regional market unit level then on to the next (like North America -MidWest or North America-Southeast, for example). Since their account set is based on the “North America” parent-region, their ability to analyze and action data from our Scorecards and Segments at this sub-regional level is extremely challenging because they are seeing far too many accounts at once.
We’d like our users to have greater flexibility in personalizing / further restricting the account set used when viewing Scorecards or prebuilt Segments. We’d like them to be able to further segment what gets shown based on their own individual needs and objectives.
Many parts of Totango already allow for this type of view personalization via segments. For example:
- Users can already define portfolio scope using filters in the My Portfolio view
- Likewise in Reports, users can apply report filters manually (or by clicking an attribute value on the y-axis of report breakdowns) to “layer filters on top” of those used in the source Segments
- Scorecards already allow some level of filtering where users may choose to populate data based on “All / My / Other User” accounts
(...visual examples below...)
We’re asking Totango to expand this functionality to allow other account attributes (such as ACV, Market Unit, Strategic Classification, etc.) to be used as filters "on top of" Scorecards and Segments.

Hi Ravit - Basically, yes. Apply a filter to all of the scorecards shown on the page. It might be a filter on region, on country, perhaps on ACV, or even on next renewal date. Just a way for the individual user to further refine what the scorecards display during that particular session reviewing them (in addition to the filters used in the source segments feeding those scorecards)
