Segments in use?
Is there a way in the platform to note is a Segment is being used in a success play, campaign, etc? (like an icon of any kind or segment to run?)
It would be great if it at least had a "wait this segment is in use" when deleing.
This would allow for easy auditing and clean up of unused and duplicate segments.

I completely agree. It would also be helpful for Global Admin to be able to send an internal system note to the segment owner in the case that an attribute which is being used in a Private segment is planned for deletion and will inadvertently impact the segment. Currently, Global Admins only receive a notification that the attribute is used in the private segment, but have no authority to override/adjust the segment without contacting each private segment owner 1:1 and asking them to adjust/delete. It's fairly cumbersome.

I can see that this area is confusing and I will work on improving this.. But just to clarify.. when you choose a segment in SuccessPlays and Campaigns we don't "connect" them together for this precise reason that someone will change it and it can have consequences.. We simply "copy" the criteria from the segment into the Play or Campaign.
Changing the segment DOES NOT change the criteria of the Campaign or SuccessPlay unless you explicitly go to campaigns and successplays and make changes.

Hi Vijay, can you elaborate on your comment? We've been told it's best practice to associate segments with campaigns so that if we modify segment criteria, that criteria will be reflected on the campaign criteria since campaign criteria is based on "is in segment" X. Am I wrong in this understanding???
