It is often necessary to create a touchpoint that requires a follow-up task and/or update an attribute. The issue is that if that touchpoint was not tied to the completion of a task, the option to directly tie an attribute update or generate a follow-up task to the touchpoint is not available. To accomplish this, I would have to create a task and then complete it in order to have those options. It’s an extra and unnecessary step. I’d say half my touchpoints did not have a task that proceeded them. Basically, I would like to see the “Post Completion Information Update” and “Follow-up Actions” fields be available anytime we create a touchpoint. As of now this is only available if you create one when you complete a Totango task.
