Pinned Accounts Showing in My Portfolio View
It took me by surprised that when you pin an account, it appears in the My Portfolio calculation of accounts and contract dollars. We currently have the My Portfolio widget filtered by number of accounts and contract dollar amount in portfolio, so at the Account level. However, if you pin an Opportunity in the hiearchy, it increases the number of accounts and the dollar amount and adds the Opportunity to the list. This double counts the contract dollars in the total since they are already accounted for at the Account level. The ask would be not to include pinned items in the My Portfolio widget, have that read off of system assignment.
See ticket 31235 - confirmed this is how the product was designed.

Thanks Danielle, The idea of pinneed account is for example when someone leave for vacation and you take ownership on his account. in this case you as the CSM are now responsible for more dollars and more accounts and this is why it affect the portfolio.
what is the use case you are trying to leverage it for?

Hello Ravit, since we have launched, I have had the opportunity to nail down what it is our Team is looking for. I would like to retract this wishlist request to change the pinning functionality and will submit another request instead.
The true ask from the Team is that when you log in, to instantly be able see a dashboard list of all of your accounts vs the notification page. We recognize this is in the cog wheel to the right, but it would be much more appealing if when you logged into the system, the first thing you saw was a list of your accounts with a few key data points (preferably customizable to each account). To the Team, this is what they want to see first, even before they dive into notifications, etc. Right now, many of them are going straight to their My Portfolio page and looking up a Segment of their accounts first, and then navigating back to the notifications page. Many said the notifications page was overwhelming and not helpful until they could first visually see their account list and an overview of their work. Additionally, they did not like the account list view the cog wheel functionality provides and thought a segment type view would be more helpful. Thanks!
