Lifecycle Update Quick Delete

When creating or updating a lifecycle in the system, if you click outside of the lifecycle box, it will exit the Attribute and delete all of your work. This has wasted a significant amount of time as this is not normal behavior inside any UI. Normally, when you have a module or box open that you are configuring/editing, you have to click cancel or save to exit. Confirmed with Support that the feature was designed this way. Expressed to the end user, this feels like a bug or a miss or faulty design.
