Ability to Edit Current Text in Attribute Fields

We have several text Attribute fields that serve as status update for our Leadership Team. This means that CSD's will be required to make updates to these fields on a regular basis. These fields can be updated at the account level or via a Segment. Either way, the system does not allow you to click into the field and make edits from the text currently populated in the field. Rather you have to write a brand new entry.

When updating the text Attribute via a Segment, the pain is minimized as you can copy the current text prior to clicking into the field, allowing you to copy and paste the previous text as a starting point if you would like. 

When updating the text Attribute via the Account page, you cannot copy and paste the current text prior to clicking into the field, forcing you to start your entry from scratch. This will be a huge pain point for the team. 

Either way, the ideal state is to have text fields remain populated with the current text when you click into the field and make edits from there.

  Yes, we have requested this several times as well. This would be so great!

  This would be very valuable for our use cases as well.  Several fields have exiting test that we dont want over-written; just appended.  Having to retype the existing texts is cumbersome and leads to mistakes.

  Hello,

  Since our launch, this is the number ask from our Team. We have let them know that you are working on a solution. Do you have any timelines? 

  Additionally, the Team has added that it would be very helpful when editing the field, to have the field display a larger text box that allows them to see more or ideally all of the text vs the current small window.

  This is a huge need for us. The workarounds are so painful it is causing CSMs to managing updates in Excel. Please provide an update.

  Disappointed this one is over a year old! Highly requested from my team and a very klunky experience to set the value for the first time on the account page, but then the workaround to edit a text attribute easily to go via a segment.

  We are also struggling with this feature.  It's on the Key Info tab and yet we can't utilise the data once we have entered it.  Users should be able to click into the field and see the full text/attribute value and have the ability to copy/paste/edit as required.

  Switching to a segment is not a great experience.
