We have several text Attribute fields that serve as status update for our Leadership Team. This means that CSD's will be required to make updates to these fields on a regular basis. These fields can be updated at the account level or via a Segment. Either way, the system does not allow you to click into the field and make edits from the text currently populated in the field. Rather you have to write a brand new entry.
When updating the text Attribute via a Segment, the pain is minimized as you can copy the current text prior to clicking into the field, allowing you to copy and paste the previous text as a starting point if you would like.
When updating the text Attribute via the Account page, you cannot copy and paste the current text prior to clicking into the field, forcing you to start your entry from scratch. This will be a huge pain point for the team.
Either way, the ideal state is to have text fields remain populated with the current text when you click into the field and make edits from there.
