End users without Accounts

We have a setup where some of our end users belong to accounts but most are individual users.  We are managing the accounts in Totango, so the users within those accounts fits nicely into the structure.  

I am thinking of loading the other users into a fake account (it will be a very big one!) and allowing me to use some of the Totango features for action items, touchpoints etc with these users in this 'bulk' account.

Two questions:
1) Are there limitations or limits to the number of users (end users) on an account?
2) Is this a bad idea?
