Timed Email Campaigns

We would like to set our automated email campaigns to be delivered at a specific day and time.  Currently, our campaigns are delivered over weekends and at night, which decreases our customer engagement with these campaigns.

The ability to specify a specific time and day for the emails to be delivered would significantly improve these campaigns.

  This is critical! Being able to control the day/time we send out messages is key to ensuring the highest level of engagement and the biggest impact for the customers we're trying to reach. Would love to see the ability to set day/time parameters (ex: only send M-F at 9am EST).

  Kathleen we are looking into business hours and bank holiday related configuration that will be taken into account when the emails are sent.. We are still at the very early stages so I don't have more details :)

  We are all eager to take this awesome capability (Campaigns) to the next level!

  We've identified a golden hour for opening of our emails, so being able to configure the send time of an email would allow us to hit the customer at an optimal time.

  Matt are all your customers co located in the same timezone? If they are in different timezones I am guessing you will need a way to target them at a "golden" time in their timezones? If so do you bring in user timezones?

  Correct, we have customers WW.  the Golden hour can also be done by the country which the customer is in.  If the ability to delay send is dependent on a timezone setting, we'll find a way to bring this into the account page.

  Yes Amanda. We are making significant enhancements to campaigns and our goal is to deliver these in Q3-Q4 timeframe.

  Q3 and Q4 of 2021? The more we use campaigns, the more this becomes a problem for us. I'm being asked to move customer email communications to Marketo to avoid this issue.

  @vijay, is there any updates in regards to allowing us to pick when (date and time) a campaign can be sent at?? This thread is exactly what I was looking for, but it looks like the last message was 7 months ago and still no feature. :(

  +1. Any update? We are about having to look at alternatives to Totango now. Campaigns are useless without this feature. 

  A simple solution could be to add weekday and hour filters to the criteria selected. For example, send if "UTC Hour >= 5" and then something like "Day of Week is one of Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri."

  ^^^ Exactly this @totango. It Is crazy to think this feature doesn't exist. Fixing this is a huge W for the community! Especially with your big push into campaigns, this should be high up on priority.

  We moved our customer emails from HubSpot to Totango and really miss this functionality. I wish I could vote twice for this!

  You'll see some new enhancements around campaign email delivery over the next few months. Campaign users will be able to control email delivery times (by individual campaign, team or overall service) with just a few clicks.
