Ability to support images and Tables in touchpoints

Our team uses bcc @ totango functionality for a lot of customer facing emails. Many of our implementation/project management materials use tables from excel to document (actions, status, owners, etc.)

We send snippets of these tables or include these tables in the body of emails to customers. When emails with these tables are pulled over into a Totango touchpoint, the formatting is off and it makes it very difficult to decipher the email content.

  Hello

  We just added the tables control in the touchpoint editor so you can add tabular data.

  Luke your issue of copying and pasting content should also be resolved. Can you try it and if it doesn't work can you send it in via support?

  Thanks for the feedback. Maintaining the table formatting seems like a easy change for us. I will keep you updated here as soon as we have it.

  We are also looking at having images in the touchpoint but have some technical limitations right now.

  I found my way to this post because my team is having a hard time with formatting inside touchpoints. 

  If they copy/paste from Evernote or somewhere else, the bullet formatting gets stripped out. Or, if they try to enter in notes directly in the touchpoint, they claim that the system often hangs and they can't enter data as fast as it's coming in during their call.

  Anyone have any special tips for entering in nicely formatted and organized touchpoints outside of bcc'ing touchpoints@totango.com?

  Luke, we do support images in touchpoints. We are looking to upgrade the rich text editor in the near future that should address these challenges. I will check on the copy-paste issue related to Evernote.

  Hi Vijay,

  Similar issues or problems if you happen to copy/paste from gmail. Notice how the bullet formatting goes away with just a simple ctrl+v. 

  

  I realize this particular item is easily handled via touchpoints@totango.com but wanted to pass along the kind of formatting my team is losing when the need for copy/paste comes up.
