Direct - Notifications
Its not a SuccessPlay task (you don't need to do anything), and it not a Touchpoint (something someone else has or hasn't done) added to a client or even trending information on an account (ACV/MRR change).
Its the ability to provide a snippet of information to a CS Manager about their account.
It could be a client piece of news, a product release or even a warning that a client is under a higher level of care as there have been some service issues which is impacting the relationship.

Laurence a way to trigger (pop) custom-notification and other more specialized tasks, has been on our mind for a very long time, and we'll look for ways to incorporate that. Can you please expand on the use-case you see for that?
Ruthy - internal note is now available as part of the new touchpoint types. It does not count as a touch with the customer. Please check it out and let us know what you think?

I was thinking along the lines that maybe there is some company news that we want to get to a select group or even everyone. So we could drop a snippet of text into an attribute lets call it Service_News, that would then appear in the person Notifications - so it could be like a new product enhancement being released in April "What this space". the dont need to do anything yet, that would be the task in a SuccessPlay.
So its not an Actionable event, like a Task, its an information event. For Your Information (FYI). -
Its great that Notifications are here, there are some really cool things you can do with them and when you add in the additional attribute triggers, you can really make thing work effectively.
Some additional ideas.
1. Why not allow the background colour to be a basic colour - nothing fancy. Maybe use the colour feature that is present when you build a Team, so you can have Red, Amber, Green background for things like Warning status on Notifications.
2. Or even be able to load a standard size corporate background rather than one of the standard six.
