Ability to add non account specific tasks to your My Portfolio Agenda

Hi

I like the new my portfolio agenda view but it would be great if you could add non-account specific tasks to this list.

I would then only use Totango instead of something like https://momentumdash.com/ or Outlook calendar tasks for reminders.

Hope this makes sense?

    We would also love this! CSD's have many other responsibilities than just managing accounts. Right now, they have to keep multiple to-do lists and would really like a place where they can see all of their to-do's all in one. We have had feedback from multiple users that having to keep two to-do lists has made it difficult to adopt the Totango Task functionality. If, you could keep all of your tasks in Totango, the Team feels this would make it much easier to adopt the system.

    I agree with Danielle! My CSMs want a place where they can keep a to-do list that is not necessarily account specific. Working our of Totango and another task-management software is hindering adoption.

    I agree as well. There non-account specific internal team tasks that our managers need us to do. If they could assign these directly to us in Totango it would remove the need to keep a separate task list and highly increase our team's utilization.

    THIS UPDATE WOULD BE LIFE CHANGING!!! I don't have accounts as a manager so it would be incredibly helpful to be able to assign tasks and daily todos without that added layer.

    :) Alanna all the motivation I needed for today!!! Can you give me a flavor of these tasks that are not account related? Just some generic ideas will be helpful.. Not detailed... 

    • Are these one off tasks? 
    • Are these set of tasks?
    • Would there be multiple "groups" of tasks?
    • Since there is no context of account there it will just allow a user to check off the task and we are done?

    Others on this thread would love to get your insights as well!

    I couldn't agree more! I want my team to be able to have a place where they can keep their to-do list that isn't account specific but more general to our current broader initiatives and their respective tasks.

    Hey Vijay! 

    I'm thinking of this as a generic to-do list for one off tasks. Here are some of my examples from today: 

    • Complete Review
    • Touch base with Sales on OEM Enrollments 
    • Plan OEM Auto Decisioning Implementation
    • Send Questions to Marketing  

    Our teams use various methods of tracking currently - Would rather have a way for us and them to do this in Totango!

    Also adding to Lindseys points:

    • When you need to assign a task to multiple locations or OEM initiatives... ex. I need Lindsey to check some data points for Bobs used car lot, Alanna's Dealership, etc...
    • Reminders for your 1:1s with success managers
