Add webhook support for attribute changes

Rather than have to poll Totango's API constantly for attribute changes on accounts to reflect things like contract status (into our own CRM), it'd be great to be able to fire a webhook upon values changing on certain attributes.  Ideally (contract) "Status" and our Lifecycle Phases...or any attribute.

    Just a few, let me know if you want more.

    Webhook fire on Totango change to:

    • Change in contract status so we can change an attribute on our billing system (moving from demo/intro pricing to full price)
    • Change in specific Journey stage to update Journey stage in Pendo, Freshsales, and our own CRM
    • Attribute flag being set (thinking a Y/N type attribute) that identifies a specific step within a Journey stage to allow us to fire very specific training modules with Pendo (and campaigns within Totango)

    Let me know if you'd like to get deeper on this, but those are a few off the top of my head we could make use of.

    No Jimmy but we will be adding additional "activities" events in the SuccessPlay to support this and additional automation use cases. I will ping you if I need more help. This is something that we will begin work on in the near future.

    Jimmy and others this feature to automatically update attributes was introduced 1-2 sprints ago.. Please try it out and let us know..     We'll be testing this out shortly Vijay!

    Any idea when we'll be able to send these kinds of updates to an external system?  I'd love to have these types of changes reflected in our core billing system when they update (w/ a webhook), rather than having to poll every account here.

    Jimmy the webhook option is being added for this. It should be coming soon. Can you share what specific use cases you plan to use the webhooks for?

    Hey Jimmy,

    We have now added the Webhook action to SuccessPlays and is available in Beta.. Please reach out to your CSM to turn this feature on..

    This new SuccessPlay action will allow you to trigger APIs of 3rd party systems based on events in Totango.

    Would love to work with you closely as you begin adopting this feature.
