    Hello,

    I am happy to announce that as part of the new touchpoints enhancements in the Jasper release the touchpoint limit has been increased to 10k.

    It would be nice to see the limit increased.  We are currently having to add the Touchpoint to a Word document and save as an attachment as a work around.  Not ideal.

    It honestly depends on the nature of the touchpoint. Some are used to log lengthy customer account configuration note. Increasing limit to 4-5K characters should be enough for our use-case.

    I agree that this needs to be increased when emails are forwarded into Totango.

    The issue I have is I can not see the email chain so if another member of staff has been in contact with a client I have to ask them for more info instead of getting it from Totango which is frustrating!

    Paul and Ashley how big do the touchpoints go typically? 2 pages? 5 pages?

    We have the need for touchpoints in the 5k to 6k characters range, which is typically how long a meeting summary can be for us.

    An increase of the character limit would be very helpful as the actual content of the touchpoint does not always fit into the field. Adding the content as an attachment to the touchpoint is not the ideal workaround for us, as this generates an additional overhead for the creator and the readers of the touchpoint.

    Hi -- we would like to revisit this if possible. Our team has challenges with loading/taking advantage of touchpoints because of longer email chains. When we BCC touchpoints@totango.com it fails frequently because the email chain is over the 20k limit and does not log. With our team using this tool to track historical information on customers, and knowledge passing, not having this available for the majority of email chains really hinders us from utilizing the feature to the fullest extent. -- Maybe if the system logged the emails as Plain Text only, it would strip any formatting, or pictures/signatures from the message, opening up more characters.  Please feel free to reach out with additional questions.
