Displaying a Customer's Timeline Answered

Meg Kinseth

How can I show, on the account level somewhere, how long a customer has spent in each of the Customer Journey stages that I've created. For example, it will be helpful to know if a client spent 20 days in the sandbox before kicking off for some reason, or if they spend 30 days testing and not launching. Something along those lines, how do I show the date that the stage was updated on the account level?

Sean, that's a clever idea using the built-in "Days in..." filters from lifecycle attributes for automation. For quick reference on an account profile, you can also hover over any stage from the Status widget (if configured).

You may be able to configure a new SuccessPlay using the Notify Team feature.

Set your filters. Configure the schedule as Recurring. Then within the notification itself you might Add Data for any of your "Days In" your journey stages.

Then, on your recurrence schedule, the Timeline will see an update to any attributes you've inserted as of that day in time when the SuccessPlay triggered.
