The unified contacts widget enables you to view and engage with all contacts within each account family, regardless of which account those contacts are bound to within the hierarchy. This feature helps to eliminate the need to either choose a specific "working level" where tasks and touchpoints are logged or to create duplicate contact records at multiple levels of the hierarchy within a given account family.
By default, the Contacts widget will only display contacts that are directly linked to the account that you are currently viewing. You can expand the list of visible contacts by using the role and account filters, and the search bar.
Linking To Tasks and Touchpoints
In addition to having access to all contacts within an account family in the contacts widget, this feature also gives you the ability to link tasks and touchpoints to any contact in the account family, even if they are not directly linked to the account where you are logging the engagement.
